Katrina is such a sweet and lovely name.
But the devastation she brought was such a shame.

The warnings were not heeded even though they were told.
The breakdown of authority was more than two-fold

People were eating and drinking as told in the Bible about the end of time.
Civilization had ended and the streets were filled with horror and crime.

The skies were blackened and torrents of rain poured down.
The streets were littered with debris and water flooded the ground.

The winds blew with the fury of an evil spirit.
Within ninety thousand square miles people could feel it.

Lives were swept away and havoc raged from bad to worse.
The poor and lame and old and sick seemed to be under a curse.

This is an insight of living in a world without God who is Almighty.
Will we ever wise up and stop taking our Creator’s warnings lightly.
