There is but one God most people will agree.
A God with many names who we cannot see.

He is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob’s twelve tribes.
He is the God that is written about by his chosen Scribes.

He is the truth, the light, the Alpha and Omega, and the only way.
He is God of the Universe not a part of it as some people may say.

He formed everything before time began with infinite care.

The world wasn’t created by the big bang theory.
To think we evolved from apes is dreadfully dreary.

Do you think we keep coming back until we get it right?
That whole conception is illogical and quite a fright.

So, if there is but one God who then is he?
A mysterious figure or whatever we conceive him to be.

Can you grasp the enormity and majesty of God’s abounding love?
He created everything seen from beneath the sea to stars above.

God is the father of Adam and Eve and Noah of old.
He was and is, and will ever be that’s long ago been told.
